This informative session highlighted some new and interesting equipment and supplies available to the asbestos, lead-based paint and water intrusion/mold remediation industries.
Dave Hogue got us started with some chapter news and updates, including the announcement and award of Georgia EIA's first annual student scholarship award. This years award went to University of Georgia student and GA EIA member Erin Hutto. Dave presented a check to Erin for $500 to help off-set this year's tuition and related expenses. Congratulations to Erin (and proud Papa Dan)!
Dave continued with a discussion with a new work area preparation supply... BearAcade.
Next, David Willyard from Abatement Technologies introduced an improved negative air machine called Bulldog. Finally, Cyndi Davis with Airgas introduced additional abatement equipment and supplies, including new high quality disposal coveralls and 3M eraser pads. Cyndi concluded the evening with some drawings for some cool give-aways!
Thanks to Analytical Environmental Services, Inc. for sponsoring and to Winter Construction for hosting.
